Global Indian International School Indore starts its first session from 9th April 2012. The
year marked off in a very pious environment. The eminent representatives of four leading
communities of the country were present to bless the children and the school for
a great year ahead.
 
The student s first day at school started with a
lot of pomp and show. The teachers and the
classes were all set to welcome the students
with open heart.

The assemble started at 10:00 am with a
welcome note presented by Ms Nona
followed by a floral welcome of the
Honourable Chief Guests Revrand Bishop
Chako, Pandit Shri Ashok Maharaj, Bhai
Sahab From Gurudwara and the Respected
Quazi Sahab of Indore, by Principal
Dr. Faiqa Saulat Khan.

Showers of blessings from spiritual leaders
towards inculcating secular values and
religious tolerance in the young minds
 
The sequence of seeking blessings from the Almighty started with a
devotional song by Ms Neha and Mr Akash followed by blessings and
prayer done by all the religious gurus. They all quoted lines from the
holy books and blessed children followed by the song "Showers of
Blessings".

All the teachers greeted the students and blessed them in a very
unique way (the pic of the same is attached herewith).The students
then enjoyed a story followed by a skit prepared by the teachers which
highlighted the mission and plan of action of GIIS.

Vote of thanks was proposed by the Principal Dr. Faiqa Saulat Khan
and the assembly dispersed after the National Anthem. Comparing
was done by Ms Nona.

The best part enjoyed by the students was Medley Presented by
MrAkash our Music Teacher. The kids had a fun filled memorable first
day with their teachers and went back home with happy memories
looking forward to coming back to school the next day.
